In less than a decade, Woodlem Education has transformed from a single school into a dynamic, future-forward educational movement. But beyond the numbers lies a story shaped not by privilege, but by purpose, resilience, and a visionary belief in equity and access.
The journey began with Noufal Ahmed, the Founder and Managing Director of Woodlem Education, who was raised in a humble, value-driven family. His grandfather, a pioneering interstate entrepreneur, passed down a legacy of business acumen and grit. Blending that legacy with his own commitment to social upliftment and digital literacy, Noufal Ahmed set out to create schools where learning is not a luxury—but a right.
When the first Woodlem Park School opened in Ajman in 2017, it made headlines as the first solar-powered school in the UAE—a bold, tangible statement of the group’s commitment to sustainability and future-centric education. This landmark moment reflected Noufal Ahmed’s belief in building institutions that care for both people and the planet.
Since then, Woodlem has grown into a thriving network of 12 schools, including:
CBSE Schools
British Schools
American School
Early Years Nursery
An international school in Calicut, Kerala, further extends Woodlem’s reach beyond UAE borders.
Across these campuses, more than 18,000 students representing 50+ nationalities are nurtured by a team of over 2,000 educators and staff. Each school is a celebration of diversity, creativity, and purposeful learning.
