Asmal Ahmed is the Chief Executive Officer of Woodlem Education, having stepped into the role in June 2025. This appointment follows a distinguished career within the organization, where he previously served as General Manager (2017–2019) and Administrative Director (2019–2025). With an MBA from Acharya Institute of Technology and over a decade of leadership experience in the education sector, Asmal has been an integral part of Woodlem’s journey from its early stages through its continued growth and expansion.
His leadership focuses on project planning and development, financial strategy, institutional design, quality enhancement, and the overall management of school operations across all woodlem campuses. He plays a key role in driving organizational growth, overseeing governance and operational excellence, monitoring institutional performance, and providing strategic guidance to school leadership teams.

Dr. John Robert Brown brings over three decades of global educational leadership and teaching experience to Woodlem Education. He has held senior roles, including Director of Curriculum and Teaching at Tsinglan School, China; Principal Inspector for School Quality Assurance in Abu Dhabi; and Senior/Associate Inspector with the Dubai School Inspections Bureau, where he led over 100 school inspections and championed significant improvements in school quality.
A Doctor of Education from the University of Toronto, Dr. Brown has worked across Canada, the UAE, China, India, Switzerland, Brazil and Mexico. He has overseen curriculum design, teacher development, school accreditation and large-scale quality assurance initiatives. His career is marked by a deep commitment to raising school outcomes, supporting teachers’ professional growth and ensuring that all students receive high quality learning experiences.
In his role of Director of Education at Woodlem Education, Dr. Brown will lead the academic strategies, quality improvements and innovations across the group’s schools.
